Licensing & auto-updates for your WordPress plugins
Devs Wizard issues license keys, verifies every activation, and delivers automatic updates from your own GitHub releases — all from one private dashboard you control.
Everything a plugin business needs
Keys, activations, updates, and audit logs — without stitching together third-party services.
License Key Management
Generate secure DW-format keys, bind them to a customer domain, and set optional expiry — lifetime or subscription.
GitHub Auto-Updates
WordPress checks in for updates and pulls the packaged zip directly from your private GitHub releases — no wordpress.org needed.
Activation Control
Every install is verified daily. Revoke, deactivate, or move a license between domains from one dashboard.
Full Activity Logs
Every activation, verification, and download is logged with domain, IP, and timestamp for complete visibility.
From release to activation in three steps
Wire it up once — the platform handles verification and delivery from there.
Register your plugin
Add the plugin and its GitHub repo. Devs Wizard tracks the latest release version automatically.
Issue a license
Generate a key for each customer, optionally scoped with an expiry date, and send it with your plugin.
Activate & auto-update
The plugin activates against the license, then quietly pulls new versions as you cut GitHub releases.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you might be wondering.
Is Devs Wizard really free?
Yes — completely free. No plan tiers, no per-license fees, no credit card. License as many plugins and issue as many keys as you need.
What do I need to get started?
A premium WordPress plugin you distribute yourself and a GitHub repository for its releases. Create a free account, register the plugin, and generate license keys.
Do I have to self-host anything?
No. Use the hosted platform for free. If you'd rather run your own instance, the project can be self-hosted too — but it isn't required.
How do auto-updates work?
You publish a GitHub release; licensed sites receive the update through the normal WordPress update screen. Downloads re-check the license before serving the zip, so expired or revoked keys stop receiving updates.
Does it work with any plugin?
Any self-distributed premium or private WordPress plugin. It is not meant for plugins hosted on the wordpress.org directory.
When is the public release?
Very soon. Sign-ups are opening to everyone shortly — the platform is free and ready to use.
